Objective
Business Challeges
Pakistan Live Style has been conducting expos in Sri Lanka since 2019. In 2024 they decided to conduct an expo and trade show in US. They required us to bring approximately 2K footfall per day. As marketers, we know it’s really hard to get such a number the first time. So, we have suggested our expectations, which is an average of 700-1000 footfall per day.
Time Limit
The event was going to happen in July 2024, and the client approached us in May. Only 3 months was a very short time to set up things and start getting the results. We need to target the right audience to get fruitful results in a short time.
Final Step
As we mentioned at the start, it was an Expo & Trade Show and they required us to get visitors from US and B2B leads of Pakistani businesses from Pakistan and US as well.
Strategy
Research & Planning
Competitor Analysis: We have done a Competitor Analysis of the Heritage India Festival, APPNA Convention, and ICNA. They are the major competitors and they have been working for a long time in the US. We analyzed their websites and also their currently running campaigns, Here are a few points that we considered while doing competitor analysis.
- Which platform they are using for Ads?
- How many and what type of ads they are running?
- What is the current website SEO stats?
- How many backlinks does their website have?
- What is/are their top page (s) on the website?
Platforms & Technologies: We have selected Facebook, Instagram, Google Search Ads, and SEO.
Implementation
Creating Landing Page
We created 3 landing pages, 2 pages dedicated to US and Pakistani vendors with a registration form, and Google Search Ads. The 3rd landing page was an all-in-one page and used in Facebook Ads.
Facebook & Instagram Ads
Here is a brief breakdown of our Facebook Ads Strategy.
- We launched a WhatsApp campaign to provide direct communication between potential attendees and the event organizers.
- To build momentum, I also ran an awareness campaign, spreading the word about the event and ensuring it reached the right audience.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
We have started with Competitor Analysis to find worthy websites for backlinks along with a client website audit to find the issues in crawling websites. We have created 100 backlinks. Also listed are events on 15 famous websites like 10Times, Eventbrite, and allevent.in, Event Seekers, Meetup, Evvnt, and many others.
Results
Event Visit Results
By the mercy of God Almighty, the client got 1600 visits in total. which is quite good in first time. And they also had some B2B deals.
Facebook Ads Stats
They got 14000+ impressions out of which 1600+ messages were received (including visitors and vendors) inquiring for more information. The CTR was 2%.
SEO Stats
The below screenshots show the organic traffic and keywords that we have achieved during 3 three-month period.

Before starting the work the 3 months Impressions & Clicks were very low.
SEO After__(01 Jun, 24 To 31 Aug, 24)
During the 3 months working, the Impressions & Clicks increases to 300%.
