COMPANY CASE STUDY
A Saas company approached us to maintain and improve Digital Marketing of their products and services.
Objective
Business Challeges
xFanatical Inc. is a well going Google Cloud Partner. They have 3 products (software) that integrate with Google Workspace to provide service to Google Workspace users. Their objective was just to maintain the marketing efforts for their products and improve if there was any gap. The primary source of the website traffic was the blog. And the target audiance was Google Workspace users.
Countdown
It was a regular project and didn’t have any timeline, yet we had weekly and monthly performance reports.
Final Step
The client needs us to maintain the monthly website traffic which was coming from Google and social media channels.
challenges
Saas industry is a kind of cooperative nature. It’s really hard to maintain interest and attract new prospects via content marketing.
Strategy
Research & Planning
The rule of thumb for easy success is, “Do not re-invent the wheel“. It’s a good practice to follow what’s already working well.
When we took over this project, they already had a content writer working, which was a great assist for us, because it’s easy to work with someone, who already knows about the company and product.
Implementation
Content Marketing
We started with the knowledge base of their flagship product. They used to upload new use cases regularly. We made sure, that this knowledge content must be SEO-Optimized with Google Workspace-related keywords.
We also assist the content marketing by adding new blog posts about the general Google Workspace tutorials like Google Classroom, Sheets, Docs, Slides, and importantly Google Admin Console.
Social Media
Who is not aware of social media potential? We created a robust Social Media Calendar using a robust Social Content Calendar (thanks to HubSpot). Particularly we posted the tutorials on xFanatical YouTube Channel. Besides YouTube, we consistently uploaded educational content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Quora and shared it in different groups as well.
SEO
We optimized the On-Page SEO of every single blog either new or old and regularly created 200 backlinks avg/mon from highly reputed websites. This leads us to a consistent position. By uploading the new content, we got a high number of new keywords pointing to us, although this caused a bit loss of Impressions and clicks, the organic search traffic was good.
Results
Social Media
SEO & Web Traffic
SEO is mandatory for this kind of project where content is being uploaded every week. We tried our best to keep the stats consistent.
